RATES

Overnight Boarding rates are dependent on the length of stay, the suite type, the calendar time of stay, how many dogs you have, and how old they are. Other factors include whether or not your dog is spayed, vaccination status, check in/out times, etc. Each stay is unique, however, for most common bookings, the overnight rate is $67/per night, with a checkout prior to 10:00am. We are a highly social facility and do not accept dangerous dogs.

Dogs must be well tempered and non-aggressive
Dogs must be friendly and social with other dogs, people and children
Dogs must have appropriate vaccines based on our requirements
Dogs must be healthy and free from any signs of communicable disease

If your dog shows aggression, dominant or guarding behavior towards other dogs or humans, barks constantly while staying in his/her suite, continually messes or damages his/her suite, or has any communicable disease, we will not be able to provide boarding services for your pet(s).

We're always happy to welcome furry friends who haven't been spayed or neutered, as long as they have a friendly temperament and get along well with others. Just a heads up, though: unneutered male dogs over the age of 1 year tend to have a tough time in our daycare setting, so we no longer accept intact males over one year into ongoing daycare (one-off visits may receive an exception). For ongoing daycare, we will ask that they come back to stay with us after they've been neutered.

For male dogs who like to mark their territory indoors (or other dogs), we may need to use a Belly Band to keep things clean. We only use disposable absorbent bands and there's a small fee of $5+HST per day.

If your female dog is within 3 weeks of going into heat, or within 3 weeks of finishing a heat cycle, there's an estrus fee of $60+HST per night. And if she's already in active heat, she'll need to stay in our Studio Suite, with a 24/7 human companion. The rate for this stay is standard/holiday rates, plus the estrus fee.

At our facility, ensuring the health and safety of all guests is a top priority. To achieve this objective, we have policies requiring all pets to have up-to-date vaccinations. This includes rabies (required by provincial law) and 'core' vaccines (DHPP). It is also a requirement by our liability insurance provider.

To secure your reservation, a deposit is required for both overnight boarding and drop-in visits. Here's a breakdown:

Overnight Boarding: A non-refundable 50% deposit is due upon booking to confirm your reservation. Drop-In Visits: Full payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

It's important to note that deposits must be received promptly to secure your spot as all reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. You can choose to pay the deposit through Interac e-Transfer or credit card online.

Once your deposit is received, we'll send you a confirmation within 24 hours that includes all the details of your pet's stay and helpful information to prepare them for their time with us.

At Tucked Inn Kennels, we aim to provide the best possible experience for you and your furry friend. When you book a stay with us, there are several factors that come into play, such as scheduling our staff and planning for the number of dogs expected each day. While we do our best to accommodate every booking, there may be times when we have to turn away a reservation to make room for yours.
