Nestled on five acres of picturesque land in Northumberland's Shelter Valley, our fully licensed and insured retreat offers luxurious accommodations and expertly trained staff to provide you and your pet with peace of mind while you're away.

Since 2016, we’ve been proudly supporting pet parents from Alberta to New Brunswick. Accommodations
We prioritize your furry friend's comfort in our suites. Our Deluxe Suites provide ample space of 25 square feet, suitable for small, medium, and large dogs. They are even spacious enough to accommodate two large dogs with ease. Moreover, our Premium Suites are perfect for larger or multiple guests who require extra legroom. Measuring approx. 45 square feet, they are a cozy and comfortable haven for your pet.
Suite Design
At Tucked Inn, we take your furry friend's comfort seriously, which is why each of our suites has been thoughtfully designed and constructed with their well-being in mind. Our raised floors provide ample air circulation and warmth during winters, while ensuring cool and comfortable floors during summers. Our waterproof strip vinyl flooring, sealed with silicone, ensures easy sanitation and cleanliness, even in the case of unexpected accidents. Our walls are crafted using cabinet grade, formaldehyde-free plywood and finished with low or no-VOC paints for a healthy and welcoming environment. Finally, our custom-built doors are fitted with double-lock slide bolts and heavy-duty floor bolts, ensuring your pet's utmost security and peace of mind.
Cleaning and Sanitation
At Tucked Inn, we understand that your pet's comfort and cleanliness is of utmost importance, which is why we offer daily room service to ensure their well-being. Our diligent staff takes care of everything from suite cleaning to fluffing beds and blankets, and changing food and water bowls. We always keep a fresh supply of towels and blankets on hand, and heavily soiled linens or toys are immediately laundered.
Additionally, for a small extra fee, we provide laundry services for your pet's bedding, toys, and blankets. Once our guests check out, we thoroughly clean and sanitize each suite, so the next guest can enjoy a spotless and inviting space.
At Tucked Inn, we prioritize the health and wellbeing of your furry friends, which is why we only use all-natural, pet-friendly cleaners to sanitize our suites. For added peace of mind, we also utilize hospital-grade disinfectant cleaners, ensuring that all germs are eliminated upon contact. Plus, we top it off with a pleasant scent to create a soothing and refreshing atmosphere. To purify the air, we employ Lamp Berger products, and our diffusers with essential oils further enhance the calming ambiance.
Private Studio Suite
Welcome to our Private Studio Suite, where the ultimate in comfort and coziness await! Here, your pup will enjoy comfortable seating, a TV with DVD player, and a wood stove to keep him warm during those chilly nights. Your pup can snuggle up with a human on our queen-sized bed or bring your pet's own from home. Rest assured that your pet will be in the best hands as our human companion will keep them company overnight as they share the Studio for sleeping.
Your furry friend can also enjoy the company of other four-legged guests in our courtyard, where appropriate. This space is perfect for pups who prefer a more private environment or who experience separation anxiety. Plus, many of our rescue guests have had a wonderful experience here! For our heavy shedding breeds, there is an additional $29 cleaning fee when booking the Studio Suite. Please note that all guests in the Studio need to be fully house trained and non-chewers of furniture. For those extra special pooches, we offer a 24-hour human supervision add-on to make their stay even more comfortable.
